Overview
Known by many names, the Guimbarde is one of the oldest known musical instruments. Slide a finger along the left or right side of the instrument to change its tone. Tap anywhere else to play a note. (Be sure the phone is not switched into silent mode otherwise the sounds will not play.)
(Some other names for the Guimbarde are: gewgaw, jaw harp, Jew’s harp, Jew’s trump, juice harp, mouth harp, Ozark harp, and marranzano pancake.)
